About Us — Women-Owned

Two dispatch experiences.
One complete system.

Dispatch & Dollars Academy was built by two women who came into freight from opposite ends of the same load. One holds a CDL and books her own freight as an owner-operator. One dispatches heavy-duty hotshot drivers full time as a self-employed dispatcher. Put those two views together and you get the whole picture of how a load — and the money — actually moves.

Side One

Jae Jones — The Owner-Operator

Instructor & Business Strategist · Medical & Expedited Freight Logistics Expert

CDL holder and owner-operator who books her own loads instead of waiting on someone else to do it. She also owns a multi-member medical courier company, a business consulting company, and a trucking company — so she has priced, staffed, and run transportation work across trucks, cargo vans, cars, and courier routes.

  • Books her own freight directly off the boards
  • Runs trucks, cargo vans, cars, and courier routes
  • Owns a multi-member medical courier company
  • Business consulting background: pricing, contracts, structure
  • Knows exactly what a carrier needs from a dispatcher

Side Two

Von Hawking — The Logistics Engine

Instructor & Business Strategist · Professional Dispatcher & Trainer

A self-employed dispatcher who manages several heavy-duty hotshot drivers at a time, finding their loads, negotiating their rates, and keeping all of them moving at once. She lives in the part of the job most students are scared of: juggling multiple drivers, multiple lanes, and multiple brokers without dropping a load.

  • Self-employed dispatcher, not an employee of a big shop
  • Dispatches 3–4 heavy-duty hotshot drivers simultaneously
  • Sources loads and negotiates rates daily
  • Coordinates drivers, appointments, and check calls
  • Builds and keeps broker and carrier relationships

Our Mission

Turn beginners into dispatchers who can book a load on day one.

Our mission is to teach freight dispatch the way it is actually done — from the carrier's seat and the dispatcher's desk — so every student leaves with a working system, real templates, and the confidence to negotiate a rate, move a driver, and get paid. We exist to open a profitable lane into logistics for women and anyone else who was never handed the playbook.

Our Vision

A generation of independent dispatchers who own their income.

We see a freight industry where dispatchers are not call-center seats but business owners — running their own book of carriers, setting their own rates, and building wealth from a laptop and a headset. Dispatch & Dollars Academy is the training ground for that: certified, standards-held dispatchers that carriers trust with their trucks.

Why Choose Us

Six reasons students pick this class over a $49 PDF.

01

Two sides of the same load

Most courses teach dispatch from one desk. You learn it from the carrier seat and the dispatcher seat — so you know what the driver needs and what the dispatcher is actually paid to do.

02

We still run freight today

This is not a retired-trucker course. We book loads, manage drivers, chase detention, and get paid every week. What we teach is what worked on this week's board.

03

Equipment range you can actually sell

Trucks, heavy-duty hotshot, cargo vans, cars, and medical courier routes. More equipment types means more carriers you can dispatch and more income lanes.

04

Business built in, not bolted on

Between an owner-operator trucking company, a multi-member medical courier company, and a business consulting firm, we teach the paperwork, pricing, and contracts side that sinks most new dispatchers.

05

You run a real load before you leave

Section 2 is one live load from posting to payment — evaluate, negotiate, book, dispatch, track, solve, invoice. You practice on the board, not on slides.

06

Proof you finished

Study, pass each knowledge check, then pass the final exam at 90% to earn your certificate. We hold a standard because your future carriers will.

Learn dispatch from both sides of the load.

Founding member seats are $99.99 — normally $229.99. Study the modules, pass the exam at 90%, and print your certificate.
